This is one I've been looking forward to releasing for a while. It's the most personal song I've written yet- and though I know that the world doesn't need another love song, I needed to write one.

When me and my partner met, I was going through a lot. Like, a lot. I was depressed, anxious, and too paranoid to trust anyone. A lot of time has passed since then, and I've grown a lot. She's been my #1 supporter throughout from then until now.

Part of my what was driving my angst was that I couldn't see a future where we'd be able to be happy. I still have trouble with this. Who looks at the world around us and says, yes, this is a good time to start a family?

A piece of ADHD a lot of people don't talk about is that if you can't visualize a complete picture of what something will look like when you're done, it makes you so anxious that you might never start. That's how I feel about parenthood. But that's one of the things about raising a child- there is no way of telling just what kind of person they'll grow into.

I think about being a parent often. I'm not sure what kind of parent I'd make- but if and when it happens, I'll strive to be the best one I can be. If I can help them be happy, help them avoid my mistakes- the ones that brought me to the edge and nearly pushed me over- I think we'll be ok.
